Breck Redinger Sioux Falls, SD Obituary Death, 22, died from injuries sustained in an accident

The community of Lake Norden, South Dakota, and the surrounding areas is mourning the loss of Breck Warren Redinger, 22, who passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Sioux Falls due to injuries sustained in an accident. Breck’s untimely passing has left a profound void for his family, friends, and all who knew him, as he was widely recognized for his warmth, kindness, and the positive impact he had on those around him.

Breck was born on June 26, 2003, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Kenneth and Deanna Redinger. He grew up in Lake Norden, where he became an active member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. His faith played a central role in his life, and he carried its values into every relationship he nurtured and every place he worked. Professionally, Breck worked alongside many Christians, most recently at Basin in Hayti, South Dakota, where he earned respect and admiration for his work ethic and integrity.

Known for his loving and generous nature, Breck touched the lives of countless individuals. He cherished time spent with his family and friends and valued the close relationships he shared with his siblings, extended family, and special friend, Lilly. He had a natural ability to make people feel seen, supported, and appreciated, leaving lasting impressions wherever he went. His joyful spirit and compassionate heart were hallmarks of his character, and his absence is felt deeply by all who were fortunate to know him.

Breck is survived by his parents, Kenny and Deanna Redinger of Rozet, Wyoming; his siblings Hunter (Lyssa) of Moorcroft, Tylen (Cassie) of Sheridan, Kaden of Saint Michael, MN, Kenna (Raleigh) Marttinen of Moorcroft, Gavin (Carly) of Gillette, and Carson, Derek, and Mack of Rozet. He also leaves behind his friend Lillian Mountain of Sheridan, his maternal grandmother Jane Rosenlund, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rick Rosenlund, and his paternal grandparents, Harry and Marlys Redinger.

Visitation for Breck will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden, SD. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, March 20, 2026, with visitation an hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the same church. Interment will follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Moorcroft Cemetery in Moorcroft, Wyoming.

Breck Warren Redinger’s life, though tragically brief, was marked by love, faith, and meaningful connections. He will be remembered for the joy he brought to others, his dedication to his family and community, and the compassionate heart that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
